You’ll appreciate the special services Red Stick Armature Works has to offer. We provide rewinding and repair, Dynamic Balancing, and equipment testing, in-house or at your site. All of our testing equipment is portable, to eliminate as much inconvenience as possible. We have 24-hour emergency service available and we repair all types of AC and DC motors, along with generators and welding machines of any size. Our 5,000 sq. ft. storage facility is equipped with a 20 ton overhead crane. While in storage we maintain the motors for immediate delivery. We have on staff a full-time employee that holds an Electrical Contractor’s License with the State of Louisiana.

Red Stick Armature Works continually strives to provide the highest quality work for our customers using the most up-to-date equipment. Our equipment includes a Steelman Process Oven, Viking Paint Booth, Epoxylite VPI System, Stewart Warner Balancing machine and a computerized Schenk Balancing Machine. Our shop provides an office for our customers use while observing repairs or testing of equipment. We also digitally transmit images of the motor during all phases of repair, via e-mail. Our facility is fully equipped with state of the art test equipment, including Hipotronics Motor Test System, AW I-900E Dynamometer and PdMA-MCE Max.

At Red Stick Armature Works we’re never too busy to serve your special needs. We offer full machine and welding shop capabilities. We’re an authorized repair station for General Electric, Leeson, Lincoln, Louis Allis, Marathon, Reliance, Siemens, Teco-Westinghouse and U.S. We are approved by Underwriters Laboratories to re-build electric motors and generators for hazardous locations.
